Quail hunting in Romania

Most of the time, the quail hunting in Romania is combine with the doves hunt. A typical day will start very early in the morning. You will be wake up early in the morning, 45 minutes before the first light and serve a hot coffee or tea and a sandwich. After a short drive of 20 to 25 minutes we will reach to hunting grounds for quails. The hunters will walk in line.

Each team of 4 hunters for quail hunting will have 2 pointing dogs and one dog handler. Shooting those tiny little birds is not an easy task, most of the clients score an average of 3 shells per each bird killed.It is very important that once a bird is killed all hunters stop in order to retrieve the bird. The temperature is also an important factor in this hunt. The cooler the day is, the longer we hunt and obviously the dogs will work better. Around 11 o’clock we go back to the hotel to a well worth it shower and a delicious lunch. One and a half, maximum two hours of resting and we hunt again.

This time is dove time.Our outfitter will try to find you places with very high birds unless you request easy birds.over the sun flowers crops. Usually, the high birds are found near the tall barn or in the valley. Long shots between 30 to 50 meters can be experienced here. We never hunt more than 2 days in the same spot for doveS. The hunt will end around 6.30 pm and you will have plenty of time a some stories with your friends over the dinner or for a relaxing massage Don’t stay too long in the night as the next early morning the adventure will start again.

LODGING AND FOOD

Depending on the hunted area, accommodation will be in 3 or 4 stars hotels or in the hunting lodges. Accommodation is always in single rooms unless you travel with your wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend. Food is delicious and we recommend you to try romanian food but we also have international dishes. For those who have special culinary preferences or have a special diet, please advise us in front.

TRANSPORT

All transport in Romania is provided by us including transfer from the airport to the hotel and back and it is included in the price of the trip.

Inside of the hunting areas you will have 4×4 cars.
