Wild duck hunting in Romania

We offer this hunt is 2 different districts for wild duck hunting in Romania. First area is located on the Olt river and it is a classical duck hunt. A typical day will start very early in the morning. Before the first light every 2 hunters will be transported in the middle of the river with our motor boats inside the blinds. Near each blind, a significant number of decoys will be placed. Also we try to bring the ducks closer with electronic callers, although from our experience, a classic manual duck caller used by an experienced hunter will attract the birds much better.

We hunt with groups of 4 to 6 hunters every 3 weeks in order not to disturb the ducks too much. As in most of the birds hunts, weather is a very important factor, cold and windy days are better than warm and nice days. We hunt in the morning and in the late afternoon. During the rest of the day you can rest in the lodge or you can hunt pheasants over the pointing dogs at no extra costs. For those arriving without guns, our companies provides our semi automatic italian shotguns. The shells are also Italian made with 12 and 20 gauge depending on your preference.

Second area, located in West of Romania has a different type of duck hunting. Here we flash the ducks from the narrow channels with shallow water all day long.

Even this is not a traditional hunt, the final parade of the killed ducks in a cold day it will make jealous all your friends. You can hunt all day long but you can also combine the duck hunt with rough shooting for pheasants and hares at no extra costs.

LODGING AND FOOD

Depending on the hunted area, accommodation will be in 3 or 4 stars hotels or in the hunting lodges. Accommodation is always in single rooms unless you travel with your wife, husband, girlfriend or boyfriend. Food is delicious and we recommend you to try romanian food but we also have international dishes. For those who have special culinary preferences or have a special diet, please advise us in front.

TRANSPORT

All transport in Romania is provided by us including transfer from the airport to the hotel and back and it is included in the price of the trip.

Inside of the hunting areas you will have 4×4 cars.

Price of the duck hunting in Romania

Our price package for turdus hunting is 1000 euro.

-shells at the local market price;
