You can not come in Bucharest in anot eat your dinner at Carul cu bere restaurant. I am saying dinner because the restaurant is located few steps near the Old City Center where you can burn your dinner in local night pubs or chill out in their nice terrace. The food is good and portions are very big but we have to go there for the athomosfere.
Don’t forget to reserve your table at least one day before your dinner, especially if you go there in weekends.

Nightlife in Bucharest:
As I said before, Old city Bucharest it is a must visit. The advantage of this location it is open all days of the week, it is in the middle of the center and here you will find small clubs, pubs and coffee shops all in one place. Maybe more than 30% are foreign tourists and that said everything about this place.
If you are looking for famous clubs here are the best in Bucharest:
Place to be visit in or near Bucharest.
First choice is House of the people or white house of Romania. It is the second biggest building in the world after Pentagon. “Grigore Antipa” National Museum of Natural History is the second choice for a short stay in Bucharest. Except winter you can pay a visit to the Herestrau Park in North side of Bucharest.
A good idea is to use a private guide for half of day. The price is more than acceptable around 40 euro and you can find plenty of guides over the internet.
Outside Bucharest a real must is Peles and Pelisor Castles, both in the same area. Bran Castle and Sighisoara medieval town. If you are at Bran make sure you pay a visit to Bear Sanctuary at Zarnesti, few kilometers far from the Castle. A good tip is to visit the sanctuary at the opening hours when the bears are active, after that the bear will go to sleep.
