When you say hunting trip, most of the people will see only the first word, hunting. Here at Romania Hunting Outfitters we like to offer a complete experience not only for hunting, which is the major goal, but also for things to do before or/and after the hunt.

We are not a tourist company but we can give you some advice regarding best hotels, restaurants and places to visit while you are here and you can be sure our advices are based on our experience and nothing more.

Bucharest:

If you are looking for  5 stars hotel you, best you can find are:

Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest

Radisson Blu Bucharest

InterContinental Bucharest

Those 3 are located just in the center of the town and you can walk to the main tourist attraction.

The last 5 stars hotel that we recommend is JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel. Although this one have the bigger rooms, you will need a taxi to drive you in the center of the town.

For those hotels you have to consider a budget of around 100 euro per night.

If you are looking for 4 stars hotel or a 3 star plus hotel with a budget of 50 euro per night, the list is so long that we can not put it here. Just send us an email and we will see together what are the best options for your dates.

Restaurants:

You can not come in Bucharest in anot eat your dinner at Carul cu bere restaurant. I am saying dinner because the restaurant is located few steps near the Old City Center where you can burn your dinner in local night pubs or chill out in their nice terrace. The food is good and portions are very big but we have to go there for the athomosfere.

Don’t forget to reserve your table at least one day before your dinner, especially if you go there in weekends.

Nightlife in Bucharest:

As I said before, Old city Bucharest it is a must visit. The advantage of this location it is open all days of the week, it is in the middle of the center and here you will find small clubs, pubs and coffee shops all in one place.  Maybe more than 30% are foreign tourists and that said everything about this place.

If you are looking for famous clubs here are the best in Bucharest:

Place to be visit in or near Bucharest.

First choice is House of the people or white house of Romania. It is the second biggest building in the world after Pentagon.  “Grigore Antipa” National Museum of Natural History is the second choice for a short stay in Bucharest. Except winter you can pay a visit to the Herestrau Park in North side of Bucharest.

A good idea is to use a private guide for half of day. The price is more than acceptable around 40 euro and you can find plenty of guides over the internet.

Outside Bucharest a real must is Peles and Pelisor Castles, both in the same area. Bran Castle and Sighisoara medieval town. If you are at Bran make sure you pay a visit to Bear Sanctuary at Zarnesti, few kilometers far from the Castle. A good tip is to visit the sanctuary at the opening hours when the bears are active, after that the bear will go to sleep.

This is only a short guide of what you can do in one or two days in or near Bucharest. For a detailed taylormade recommendation, please do not hesitate to contact us.
